Provincial Red Cross Mass Bleeding
The Zamboanga del Norte Red Cross Chapter in cooperation with Opsilon Phi Sigma conducted a mass bleeding last February 14, 2007 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at their Office. Engr. Concordio Adriatico announced that there were 32 persons who donated blood on this occassion. Members of the Zamboanga del Norte Galloner’s Club led by Engr. Edelburgo Cheng also donated blood.

Mr. Tolin the Executive Officer of the Provincial Red Cross has noted that there were some females who donated blood contrary to the belief that only men could give blood. Among those females who donated blood were Grace Desur, Previc Ante, Mark Gako, Alberta Tianok, Jonah Pobday and Joy Cynthia Alegria.
On the other hand, Ms. Mercherrie Gako, the President of the Zamboanga del Norte Gallorner’s Club announced that their project shall be up a Tarpauline showing all the Galloners. She said that at present there are 34-members of the Galloner’s Club led by Mayor Arthur Tenorio of Mutia, ZN and former Vice Mayor Edelburgo Cheng of Dipolog City among others.
